Ordering a custom steel frame from the USA, the UK or anywhere in the world
I build every frame by hand in my workshop in Gesualdo, in southern Italy, but many of my customers live thousands of kilometres away. Some came to Gesualdo to meet me, others have never been here: their bikes were designed together at a distance and shipped to them. Here is how it works when you order from abroad.

How ordering from abroad works
- You write to meTell me what bike you have in mind and how you ride. I answer personally and we choose together frame type, tubing and options.
- You take your measurements at homeThree measurements are enough, with a tape measure and a spirit level. Measurement guide
- DesignWith a first deposit I draw your frame and send you the design: we adjust it together until it is right.
- BuildingOnce the design is approved, I build the frame by hand in about 60 days. If you like, I send you photos of the work in progress.
- ShippingYou pay the balance, I pack the frame or the complete bike in the workshop and we agree the delivery details together.

- Custom frame in Columbus steel: from €1800 (≈ $2,030 / £1,530)
- Frame in Columbus XCr stainless steel: €3100 (≈ $3,495 / £2,630)
- Complete bike: we choose the components together and I assemble it in Gesualdo for a contribution of €100
- Shipping outside Europe: a contribution of €100

Payment
In stages
A first deposit starts the design, a second deposit books the build, and the balance is paid before shipping.
Bank transfer or PayPal
You can pay by international bank transfer or with PayPal, also using a credit or debit card.
Always in euro
Every amount is agreed in euro before you pay, with no surprises on the price of the frame.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to come to Italy?
No. Everything can be done at a distance: measurements, design, approval and shipping. If you would like to come, you are welcome: some customers collect their bike in Gesualdo and ride with us. That is the Gesualdo Experience.
How can you build a frame for me without meeting me?
The three measurements in the guide, together with what you tell me about how and where you ride, are what I need to design the geometry. I send you the design before building, so you see everything before the work starts.
Can I use components I buy in my country?
Yes. You can order the frame only and have it assembled by your local bike shop, or I can build the complete bike in Gesualdo with components we choose together.
What warranty does the frame have?
The frame has a 3-year warranty from delivery, wherever you live. Read the warranty
