To build a custom frame we need three vertical measurements, taken from the floor. They take a few minutes with a tape measure, a spirit level and someone to help you. If you prefer, Vincenzo can guide you over a video call while you measure yourself: write or call us.
What you need
- A tape measure
- A spirit level
- A pen or pencil
- A free wall and a person to help you
Measurement A – From the sternal notch to the floor

Stand upright with your back close to the wall. Your helper holds a pen horizontally at the height of the notch above the breastbone and measures the vertical distance from that point to the floor.

Measurement B – Crotch height (inseam)

Hold a spirit level horizontally, pressed against your crotch as if it were a saddle. Your helper measures the vertical distance from the level to the floor.
Measurement C – From the knee to the floor

With your foot flat on the floor, find the point on the shinbone just below the kneecap (the tibial plateau) and measure the vertical distance to the floor.
How to send us your measurements
