My friend Simone sent me his comments on his MTB, now fully built up. I am glad to share his enthusiasm for the frame I made for him.

Dear Vincenzo,
I have finally managed to build up the frame you made for me (just the way I wanted). I tried the bike on Sunday and the feeling was positive: fantastic! The frame is gorgeous, compliant and at the same time it follows you well on the climbs too. I will soon send you better, more detailed photos.

Here, briefly, are the components he chose:

  • Fork: WR 80 mm
  • Groupset: SRAM X1 (single chainring) 32 × 10/42
  • Brakes: SRAM Guide R (180/160)
  • Wheels: Ambrosio AK 21
  • Handlebar/stem: Ritchey WCS carbon
  • Seatpost: FSA SLK carbon
  • Saddle: Specialized carbon
  • Complete bike weight: 9.66 kg

Thanks again for the wonderful experience you gave me. A hug, see you soon.

Simone
