A Custom City Bike for a New Friend from Germany

Building a custom bicycle is always a unique journey — a process that combines technique, passion, and craftsmanship. This time, the project was for a new friend from Germany, who dreamed of an elegant and comfortable city bike, tailored to her riding style.

A Custom Frame, Entirely Handmade

As always, I crafted the frame entirely by hand using the Silver Fillet Brazed technique. This method allows for clean and harmonious joints, free from stress points, ensuring refined aesthetics and exceptional strength.

Columbus Steel: Lightness, Strength, and Comfort

For this project, I selected Columbus steel tubing, a material that offers the perfect balance of lightness, durability, and riding comfort. The result is a perfect city bike, capable of absorbing vibrations and providing a smooth ride.

A Special Assembly

After receiving the frame, my friend decided to assemble the bike herself, choosing the components according to her needs. It was fantastic to see her enthusiasm as she brought her personalized bike to life, combining my craftsmanship with her passion for cycling.
