.. for some years I had been looking for a frame builder who would make me a bike in steel, a material that had remained in my childhood dreams in the 80s. I met Forgione by phone after contacting and visiting several famous Italian frame builders, in Lombardy, in Veneto, in Tuscany.

I made the decision to have a custom frame made by Vincenzo Forgione because I was looking for a product that was truly made only by hand and in Italy, with Italian steel, and with silver alloy welding that he masterfully performed. I recommend Forgione, for seriousness, passion, competence and honesty in carrying out his work.

The first riding impressions were favorable and debunked the clichés that believe steel is a heavy, non-reactive, too rigid, aesthetically dated, unsuitable for climbing, undrivable material... instead it's the exact one contrary. I hope soon to be able to visit the Forgione laboratory in person, certainly a rarity in Southern Italy but competitive with companies in the North.

Happy cycling everyone

Vincenzo Ambrosio
