When Erik reached out to commission his new steel frame, I knew it would be a special project. From the tubing selection to the ideal geometry, every detail was carefully considered to create a custom-made bicycle, entirely hand-built using the silver fillet brazed technique, like every Forgione frame.

Recently, my friend Lauro, a passionate cyclist and participant in numerous randonnées, shared his experience with his new Forgione frame. After one of his first long rides, Lauro wanted to share his thoughts and thank me for my work. His words describe a 200-km ride with 3000 meters of elevation gain, where the handcrafted Forgione frame was put to the test.
